Description: A winter day on Great Prespa Lake fishermen gather their nets, fishing by the traditional way. The photograph depicts the range of the tri-border lake which connect three nations, Greece, Albania and North Macedonia and how people share the long historic fishing techniques that respect nature and connote cooperation. In all sides fishing is made by the same way and they share the same cultural heritage that the lake provides: a Natura 2000 protected bio-environment, Byzantine history, agricultural-fishing traditions. The picture was taken from the Cape Roti in Psarades Village, where the historic Prespa Agreement was signed.
